This one day equipment training will train attendees on safe operating techniques for various types of equipment related to parks maintenance. Through a combination of in class theory and practical on equipment practice, attendees will learn how to safely operate and maintain their equipment.

Best practices related to equipment operation, maintenance, safety and etiquette.
Pre and post use inspection
Operation of equipment
Transportation of equipment
This course is worth 1 credit towards your Parks Practitioner Designation

For this session we require a classroom that has a projector and screen available. The classroom needs to be near a yard where attendees can practice using the requested pieces of equipment for the practical portion of this course. The host facility also needs to provide multiple pieces of all the requested equipment that attendees are to be trained on.
