Parks Practitioner Designation

Do you hold a POSA Level I or II certificate or are you working towards your POSA Level I or II certificate? If so, we have exciting news for you! OPA has developed a parks and open space focused designation program that will replace the extinct POSA certificates. This new program will ensure you are prepared for a career in parks, and will ensure that those in the industry understand how well educated, prepared and focused you are on “Protecting Tomorrow Today.”

For those who currently hold POSA certificates, you will be receiving in the mail in the near future your new OPA Parks Practitioner certificate.

If you are working towards achieving one of the POSA certificates, don’t fear, we will work with you to switch your credits so they can be applied towards your Parks Practitioner certificates.
