Dedicated April 11, 1995. The dedication at Majura Primary School was attended by a number of dignitaries including Colin Williams and Paul House representing the Ngunnawal people (traditional land owners of the Majura land), Charles Betz from UNICEF, Lan Hoang - First Secretary from the Canadian High Commision, Marjorie McInnis from the United Nations office in Canberra, John Langmore - Member of Parliament, and Dr. Sid Sax CBE - Vice President of UNICEF Australia. Peace Garden plantings included a Eucalypt. Paul House presented the school with the traditional Ngunnawal bark painting.
